The dust is finally settling and our brilliant team is starting to breathe a bit more normally. When the news hit late Friday that Goldtrail Holidays has gone into administration, we set out straight to work. And that’s we did all through the weekend. But thanks to all our previous experiences with Ash Clouds and XL Holidays, we were well prepared!
Our fantastic customer service team came in, in shifts, throughout the weekend to make sure we can handle as many cases as humanly possible. Our travel advisors were rebooking hundreds of replacement flights and advising all of our affected customers of the next steps should they wish to cancel or claim a refund for their flights. Our customers were really pleased to find out that not only are they covered for their original flights, but also for the price difference between the new ones and the original Goldtrail flights!
