Epic Summer Parties: Exit Festival 2013

EXIT is undoubtedly one of the biggest music festivals in Europe, thanks to its unique venue, top range of acts and (usually) great, great weather. We’re talking shorts and t-shirts, blue skies, cheap beer and rocking out. Held every year in early July at the Petrovaradin Fortress in Novi Sad, Serbia, EXIT offers the best in epic summer parties on the banks of the Danube.

2013 has what could be described as the best lineup yet including Snoop Dogg a.k.a Snoop Lion, Bloc Party, Dj Fresh Live, Diplo, Dubfire, Seth Troxler, Apollonia and many more. That’s before we even get to the headliners like Thom Yorke (Radiohead) and Flea (Red Hot Chili Peppers) who are going to lay claim to the festival’s central stage.

Besides the music, EXIT  also offers plenty of fun and games. Festivalistas can take a wander around the city, visit Mt. Fruška Gora, a lonely mountain in the gentle Pannonian Plain; or top up your tan on Štrand, a sandy beach on the Danube serving as the focal point of entertainment for all ages during the hot summer days.
