Guadalest Valley

Take a day off the beach to enjoy and explore the Guadalest Valley. The small mountain village is a 20 minute drive away from Benidorm and 40 from Alicante offering great views along the way. You can make use of your visit to climb to the local castle ruins, browse around the small shops in the area and bring some souvenirs back to remind you of the sunny days. Additionally you can enjoy your coffee in one of the cosy cafes and take in all the views the village terraces have to offer. Certainly worth a visit during your Costa Blanca holidays!

Casco antiguo de Altea

Altea is one of the most picturesque villages surrounding the region. The white houses, narrow streets and ambient lighting provide a relaxing Mediterranean atmosphere hard to come by. You can walk around the village and let your children roam and explore while you enjoy a coffee or dinner around the numerous restaurants and cafes. Take a break from busy Benidorm and chillax while munching on the local delicacies or pizza for the more traditional types and children. This one is certainly a place you have to visit as most visitors will also attest!

 

Placa del Castell

We hope you don’t mind the steps as this place requires you climb quite a few. Despite that fact though the views and atmosphere are well rewarding of your effort. Climb up on top and enjoy the view of both of the beaches in Benidorm and why not take some beautiful pictures? This is a definite must-do for explorers and photographers alike and it will certainly make your Costa Blanca holidays even more worthy of mention!

 

Alicante Tram

Travel within travel? Yes we do! Take the Alicante tram and travel along the coastline and villages of Costa Blanca. Enjoy the rolling scenery and magnificent sights out of your window, get off at the next station and explore! The magnificent El Campello and San Juan beaches along the way are worthy of a stop for a swim. Step outside your comfort zone, explore and make your Costa Blanca holidays a memory to cherish!

 

Castle of Santa Barbara

Take all the time you need to stroll around this magnificent castle! Dating back to the 9th century and located in Alicante, the castle of Santa Barbara is a sight to visit and behold! See the medieval armour and weapons in the castle’s museum, take a tour of the fortifications and enjoy the view over the town of Alicante!

 

Montgo Natural Park

The Montgo Natural Park is a marvelous nature reserve located close to the coastal town of Javea. Take advantage of your Costa Blanca holidays to enjoy the trails and natural surroundings and take part in outdoor activities such as biking, hiking etc. Climb to the top of the peaks and see the old windmills and the lighthouse of Javea where the peak meets the sky. All in all a great hike and well worth the effort of climbing to the top. The magnificent views are a definitely worthy prize for your efforts.
