Whenever our mind slips away to foreign lands and spectacular faraway destinations it is hard not to think about a tropical beach on the shore of one of the islands of the Caribbean. The powder-fine white sand, azure blue waters and tall palm trees swaying gently in the breeze, certainly put us in a relaxing mood perfect for daydreaming. The warm water of the Caribbean Sea as well as its marvelous natural sceneries have long been amongst the top places on earth for a beach holiday and without any exaggeration, most of those places on our list could compete for a photo entry to some dictionaries if the phrase ‘paradise on earth’ was mentioned. It’s really hard to distinguish amongst which beaches we consider best but nevertheless, here are some of our favourites!
Grace Bay, Providenciales, Turks and Caicos
The small island of Providenciales has long been voted as one of the places with the best beaches on earth. A simple google search for the best beaches will most likely show this amongst the first on the list and for a very good reason too. Clear warm water and soft, almost powder-like white sand, make this beach one of the places to visit on any bucket list. Moreover, this spotless tropical beach is simply huge and despite the people visiting it never gets too crowded. All the better if you plan on laying your towel there for the remainder of your stay.
Seven Mile Beach, Grand Cayman
Besides the numerous off shore companies hosted in the Cayman Islands, these exotic islands are also famed for their breathtaking natural sceneries and immaculate sandy beaches. One of such beaches is the world renowned Seven-Mile Beach. Despite not exactly being as long as its name suggests, the Seven Mile Beach, measuring at 5.5 miles in reality, is host to clear waters and colourful coral sands which have helped in placing it on most lists about the best beaches in the Caribbean.
Seven Mile beach, Negril, Jamaica
One of the best known resorts on the island of Reggae, Negril, also happens to have one of the best beaches around the Caribbean Sea. The majestic, Seven-Mile beach is a sensation as its pool-like water and soft white sand instantly make you think that you have entered a postcard. If you plan on having family holidays to Jamaica, this certainly is the place to swim in. The water is shallow and calm and lifeguard is always on duty, allowing children to enjoy it to the maximum and parents sip on their cocktails without stressing too much.
Tulum Beach, Riviera Maya
One of the most spectacular beaches on our list, this distinctive stretch of white sand is amongst the ost unique as well since, the ruins left there by the now extinct mayan civilization along with the marvelous rainforest reaching up to the sandy coast are awe-inspiring to say the least. Long chosen as one of the sunbathing spots of the rich and famous, Tulum beach is something you definitely have to witness if you happen to be on holidays to Cancun as it’s situated within driving distance.
Baby beach, Aruba
A man made albeit wonderful sandy lagoon, Baby beach on the southernmost tip of Aruba, is a phenomenally good looking place to get your tan on. Snorkel around its wonderfully calm and clear waters and witness the coral reefs and lush underwater life adorning the surrounding waters. In case that you get hungry, an onsite beach bar and restaurant will fill you up with local and international delicacies so you don’t have to worry about bringing your own. Nonetheless, its fame usually makes this beach crowded during high season so in order to enjoy it at its finest it would be better to visit mid-week.
Crane beach, Barbados
Another all-time favourite of exotic beach lists, Crane beach in the Barbados is a marvelous opportunity to rethink what you initially had in mind about paradise because it might tick all the boxes and then some more. A favourite of A-listers and honeymooners alike, this spectacularly beautiful beach was initially used as a port before being returned to its natural state and appropriated to serve as a tourist beach with sunbeds and facilities. Due to its placement, the waves are usually quite strong, attracting people for a variety of watersports, ranging from swimming to kitesurfing and boogie boarding.
Bavaro Beach Punta Cana, Dominican Republic

Sosua Beach, Dominican Republic
If snorkeling and diving is your thing, then this beach is a place you ought to visit on your next holidays to the Dominican Republic. Situated close to the resort town of Puerto Plata, Sosua beach is host to staggeringly colourful coral reefs, clear blue and warm waters. Bring the family along too for this one as there is lifeguard on duty in most parts and the waters are mostly friendly for children and inexperienced swimmers in general.
